My husband, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) king_david, is my best friend. We are traveling this journey together - I'm learning to submit to him as he learns to submit to the Lord. We're learning to love one another selflessly and love the Lord with our entire being. It is the hardest job I have ever known, but also the most rewarding.
My passion is words. There is no release like the sculpting of words to fit an expression of the soul. I am also known for my love of literature; a well-written book can take one on an amazing adventure. I have read many books that have become like lovers to me - there is an intimacy when you travel down the path of life with the same characters time after time.
I am intelligent, beautiful, and a decent mother. I collect pens. I love stickers. I can change a diaper really well. I have green eyes and sandy blonde hair; I am 5'7" and a human female. I tend to be lazy and would call a dishwasher a necessity. I make my own greeting cards and I've taught myself to knit (with a bit of help from my mother). I like my children to call me Mama; I think it's softer and more loving.
I dislike arrogance and self-centeredness. I am sure that I exhibit these from time to time but I strive to bring these under submission to Christ. I also dislike things like ugly chandeliers, long nails (on myself), hot dogs, and temper tantrums. I don't like to be called stupid or to be wrong. I am bossy at times. I am the oldest of seven children. I am too emotional. I love to shop. I am a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and a proud full-time mom.
